Restoring Wholeness: A Workshop for Men and Those Who Support Them
Investment: $225
Join Richard Jeffrey, an experienced trauma counsellor and group facilitator (Men and Trauma NZ), and Jasmin Dingemans, an experienced yoga, breathwork, and trauma healing facilitator (Soma Yoga), for a supportive 3 hour workshop designed to deepen understanding of how trauma and stress show up in men’s lives - and how simple, embodied practices can help restore balance and connection.
This workshop is for men navigating their own healing, as well as facilitators, counsellors, coaches, and community leaders who wish to better understand how to support men in trauma recovery work with greater skill and care, for professional development.
This is a real and practical community workshop of men, trauma & healing, with focussed educational exploration about how trauma, stress, and social conditioning can impact men:
How destructive or unhelpful behavioural patterns often cover deeper needs for safety, connection, and belonging,
How building more resources improves opportunities for men to heal
How whole communities benefit when men do this kind of work on themselves
With insights and guidance for creating safe spaces for men to show up and open up, and how those who work alongside men can support them with empathy and clarity.
Then we will guide you through our embodied resources including:
Pranayama (breath work) practices to regulate the nervous system and settle the mind
Yoga Nidra, a deeply restful guided meditation that invites the body into deep relaxation
Offering an experience of how embodied practices can support trauma recovery, nervous system healing, and integration.
This workshop is for you if:
You’re a man ready to understand your own patterns of stress or trauma, and want practical tools for support.
You’re a counsellor, coach, facilitator, teacher, or community worker who wants to better understand how to hold space for men in trauma recovery contexts.
You’re curious about how breathwork and Yoga Nidra can support nervous system regulation and deeper rest.
You want to be part of a respectful space where you can show up exactly as you are. No previous yoga or breathwork experience needed.
