Black Onyx & Jasper Mala Beads

$108.00

This 108 bead Mala has been made with love by traditional hand-knotting in India.

About Your Necklace

This Mala contains pure Dalmatian Jasper, and Black Onyx finished with a black tassel.

Mala

Japa mala necklaces can be used as a tool for meditation and also worn throughout the day as a reminder of a personal mantra or your practice. Malas are powerful and symbolic pieces that connect us to the lineage of yoga. They can be worn as a necklace or a bracelet. In meditation, they are used to count breaths or the number of times a mantra is repeated by moving your fingers over the beads.

GROUNDING | PROTECTION | CALM

Also, according to metaphysical beliefs, Dalmatian stone promotes devotion towards other people. It's not uncommon to see this stone used for people who have nightmares as the black spots are believed to suck up negative or chaotic energy to encourage a good night's sleep.

Onyx is a grounding stone that strengthens stability & balance. It is said to provide strength and support during stressful times and to boost confidence.

Onyx is known as a comforting stone for those processing grief.

The number 108 has significant meaning across many cultures and disciplines, and informs the architecture of sacred texts that are central to yoga and eastern philosophy. It is also favoured by mathemeticians for its countless patterns and divisions.
